Feeding a one month old baby bird

The essential part of per parenting is feeding your pet right. Feeding as in you have to make sure that your bird gets the right nutrition in the right amount. Baby parrots are so fragile that you should feed them with an adult parrot diet. I'm writing this because when I bought in a new baby parrot I searched all over the net for the right diet but in vain. I didn't want to experiment on my bird with all those tinned foods available in the market. So, I finally found out a good diet for my bird (mellow that's how I call her).
Baby parrots diet should be in a liquid state. So I recommend roasted gram flour aka pottukadalai maavu in tamil.
1. Take some roasted gram with sone millets and powder it using a mixer
PS: make sure that it's not way to powdery, it should be in a little grainy state.
2. Mix this powder with some water.
PS: Not a cake batter consistency, it should be in a more liquidated form.
3. Use a syringe or an ink filler (preferably a syringe) to feed your parrot.
4. Most important: before feeding your parrot give him/her a half a syringe of water and don't forget to repeat the same after the meal.
PS: this whole water stuff is to make sure that the food gets into the bird's system easily avoiding any chocking.

PS: I will keep you posted on more essential tips about growing your baby bird.

Happy pet parenting 😄 bubye 👋
